Ph.D. Candidate, Special Education
Seunghee Lee is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Special Education at the University of Oregon with a focus on Secondary Special Education and Transition. She received her Master’s degree in Special Education at Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota. She has over ten years of clinical experience as a special education teacher and graduate employee. Her research interests focus on secondary special education, specifically transition assessment, self-determination, and training development for key adult agents (i.e., teachers, caregivers) of transition age students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During her doctoral training at the University of Oregon, she has engaged in varied research projects and interdisciplinary collaboration work with practitioners, relevant service providers, and families across different settings as well as clinical and college teaching experience.
