The CAC is the advisory group for the University of Oregon, Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). The council provides feedback on all aspects and phases of our five-year core goals that direct the research of the UCEDD. The CAC focuses on building advocacy skills and sharing them, and using them to improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Members of the CAC
The members of the CAC experience developmental disabilities and draw on their lived experience in their work as UCEDD advisors and community advocates.
In Memory of Michael Mills
Michael was a valuable member of the CAC. He felt that advocacy was important because it enables one’s needs to be met.
Michael enjoyed chatting and connecting with friends and was proud of the length of time he had been at his last job. His favorite local resource was Lane Transit District (LTD).
Michael is sorely missed by those at the UCEDD, especially his fellow CAC members.
