James Sinclair

My research is broadly focused on supporting youth who have been traditionally marginalized, stigmatized and excluded in our society achieve positive post-school outcomes (e.g., students with disabilities, student who experience mental health problems, students who have been in contact with the correctional system, students who identify as LGBTQIA). My main research area of focus examines the intersection between disability and mental health. Specifically, I am interested in the identification and assessment of mental health disorders in youth with disabilities, and the development of social emotional learning interventions to best support youth with disabilities.
