Kimberly Murphy is a research analyst and information specialist for the Center on Human Development (University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities) and Early Intervention Program, University of Oregon. Over the past 18 years she has co-designed and coordinated several major studies of early child development measures including national recruitment of diverse population of subjects, data collection, analyses and writings. She has designed, developed several online open-access, interactive websites for parents of young children to complete developmental screenings, and receive results and supports.
She is currently the project coordinator for the statewide Oregon Screening Project, opportunity for all Oregon families to participate in early developmental screening. This ten-year project has included designing and providing ongoing trainings, presentations, webinars, coaching, regular coordinating with stakeholders across the state and funders, Oregon Department of Education and University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). In addition to research related activities, she creates, manages and coordinates content for three department websites, creates and disseminates outreach and support materials, manages and coordinates curated and original content, and awareness and recruitment campaigns in social media sites connected to department programs and websites.
